Bowman Ingredients is exhibiting at this year’s Free From Food Expo in The Netherlands.
This 4th annual trade exhibition is one of the key events in the European free-from food industry calendar. The event takes place from 9-10 June 2016 at the RAI Amsterdam Exhibition and Convention Centre.
Bowman Ingredients will be on stand D21 in the Free From Food Ingredients exhibition hall. Top ingredients specialists will be showcasing their free-from products to Europe’s leading manufacturers, retailers and brand managers.
Senior international sales personnel from Bowman Ingredients will be on hand to meet new and existing customers to discuss the latest product innovations. The company is a major player in the supply of gluten-free crumb systems and food coatings for the food processing industry worldwide.
Bowman Ingredients has been at the forefront of innovation in the gluten-free crumb and coatings sector for over a decade. The company helps food manufacturers around the globe to develop products for major supermarkets and quick service restaurant chains.
The gluten-free category is continuing to see year-on-year growth in both the retail and foodservice sectors in Europe. The European gluten-free market is now estimated to be worth over 700 Million Euros, with significant growth projected over the next decade.

Typical gluten-free product applications include crumb coatings and batter for convenience foods such as fish, poultry and vegetables. Gluten-free rusk is also used as a binding and textural aid in meat products, such as burgers and sausages.
Bowman Ingredients is currently investing in a purpose built plant dedicated to the manufacture of gluten-free food coatings. The UK facility will enable the firm to increase production capacity to meet growing demand from its customer base of food manufacturers worldwide.
Due to be operational by July 2016, Bowman Ingredients’ gluten-free manufacturing facility will feature the latest production equipment and enhanced processing technology. This will ensure that all coatings products and ingredients will be guaranteed gluten-free, working towards a limit of 5ppm (parts per million) of gluten.
