Bowman Ingredients’ joint venture in South Africa is one of the largest food coatings manufacturers in the country;  the only one that produces three different types of crumb. We are a leading producer of a wide range of dry food coatings for the value-added food industry, producing predusts, batters, breaders, tempuras, glazes, dry-mix marinades, stuffing mix and seasonings.

We pride ourselves on our friendly attitude, extra-mile service and support, as evidenced by our long-standing customer relationships – most have been with us for the past 20 years. We have a total of 90 people within the business, two dedicated gluten-free lines and a dedicated allergen blending line.
